Power over Ethernet (PoE) does more than simply power and control  lighting fixtures. Our PoE-based platform, is designed with  the "Smart Building" in mind.  The concept of smart buildings may have  grown out of the sustainability movement, but they contribute more value  to businesses than just increased energy efficiency. Smart buildings  expand the health, utility, and value of all their resources – both  human and capital. Internet of Things (IoT)

As the Internet of Things (IoT) becomes a mechanism for power  delivery as well as data, intelligent POE lighting will be leading the  way for other technologies to join the IoT due to lighting's unique  challenges. Lighting, more than almost any other building component,  requires real-time actions and reactions. While occupants may be willing  to wait a few minutes for the air conditioning to turn on, any  noticeable lag in lighting commands and actions is unacceptable to the  user. This means that developing a PoE system to control and power  lighting requires the development of real-time technology. With this  challenge in mind, we have developed a seamlessly integrated  native lighting controls application that supports real-time and  advanced directives. Out platform has some of the most advanced intelligent POE  lighting controls available in the market today, and it has an  open API that can integrate various building applications into one  building automation system to simplify the life of building owners. 

For buildings containing multiple floors, building owners and  contractors should be looking at the data and considering the use of  intelligent lighting from a cost and value-engineering perspective, as  it applies to systems like VoIP, security cameras with pan-tilt-zoom  capability, LED lighting and other wireless access points and POE ports.  If facilities need or use these technologies, Our POE technology is a  great option that delights the end-user and simplifies the  day-to-day management of a smart building.
